Update 04/08/2022 9:13am:

According to reports, a sexual assault accuser who filed a lawsuit against Snoop Dogg and Bishop Don Juan has filed a motion for dismissal.

The victim claimed the rapper sexually assaulted her in California in 2013. The woman identified as “Jane Doe” sued the rapper for sexual assault, sexual battery, and violating the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. This past Wednesday, attorneys for the accuser asked a just to dismiss the case “in its entirety” without prejudice.

Previously, Snoop Dogg asked to have the suit dismissed, claiming the suit had no valid legal accusations. The rapper went on to say the suit was a “thinly veiled attempt to extort defendant for money.” Lawyers for Snoop responded to an updated version of the accuser’s lawsuit before she moved to drop the suit, saying “Plaintiff’s lawsuit is devoid of many of the necessary details relevant to her claim … and instead recites innuendo and irrelevant statements from his public in interviews to backfill the deficiencies.”

A spokesperson for Snoop Dogg addressed the lawsuit being dropped, saying, “It is not surprising that the plaintiff dismissed her complaint against the defendants. Her complaint was full of false allegations and deficiencies.” As of now, the accuser could refile the case later. Stay tuned for more updates.
