6-Year-Old Boy Suspended for Kissing Classmate's Hand

A first grader from Canon City, Colorado was suspended after kissing a female classmate on the cheek and hand. Hunter Yelton, 6, is probably too young to understand the concept of "sexual harassment," but school officials believe that's what he did when he leaned over and kissed the girl's hand during music class.Hunter's mom says her son and the girl are "boyfriend and girlfriend" and like each other. "She was fine with it," Jennifer Saunders told local news outlet KRDO. "The other children saw it and went to the music teacher. That was the day I had the meeting with the principal, where she first said 'sexual harassment'."His mother acknowledges that Hunter was suspended once before for "rough-housing" and kissing the same girl on the cheek, but says accusing the boy of "sexual harassment" is ridiculous."How can you do this? How can you say this about my child? Remove sexual harassment, remove it from his record.
