Warriors standout Jordan Poole finalizing $140 million extension

Image
Golden State Warriors  rising star  Jordan Poole  was clutch in the  playoffs  last season, and now he’s secured the bag. Poole's agents confirmed Saturday that he's finalizing a four-year, $140 million extension with the Golden State Warriors ahead of the 2022-23 season, according to ESPN's  Adrian Wojnarowsk i. Eligible for an extension for the first time this offseason, anticipations regarding a new deal were high all summer. Poole, 23, was in the same draft class as  Miami Heat  sixth-man  Tyler Herro , who  agreed  to a four-year, $130 million contract extension on Oct. 2. This is a highlight in an inspiring story for Poole, who was one of the most improved players in the NBA last season, and was strangely  not even a finalist  for the award. Now that contract negotiations are being finalized, the 23-year-old can continue to build on his already strong standing with the Warriors. From spending some time in the G league and mostly coming off the bench during

Florida Doctor Asks Judge to Toss 50 Cent's Penis Enhancement Lawsuit Out Of Court

Image
50 Cent previously filed a lawsuit against a Florida doctor named Angela Kogan  after she allegedly implied the rapper came to visit Perfection Plastic Surgery and MedSpa to get a penile enhancement treatment. Now, Kogan has asked a judge to drop the suit against her.  50’s suit claims he took a photo with her under the impression that the woman was a fan of his. However, the woman took the picture and used it to imply the rapper had been there to take advantage of one of the procedures.  Since then, Kogan asked the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida to dismiss the suit. Attorneys for Kogan said, “It is clear from the Photo itself that the taking thereof was not a random happenstance or unsolicited occasion. The content of the Photo shows [50 Cent] in [Kogan’s’] office, next to [Kogan] in her role as a businesswoman/aesthetician (i.e. in professional attire).” They continued by saying, “The Photo is not representative of [50 Cent] running into a random

Chicago Lady Severs Landlord's Body Parts & Puts Them in a Freezer After Getting Evicted

Image
Tenants in the West Ridge house in neighborhoods of North Chicago recently bore witness to a horrific chain of events that resulted in their landlord getting dismembered by their roommate in a gruesome murder case that has made national headlines. The incident occured inside a home owned by an elderly woman named Frances Walker (68). According to reports, her tenants grew concerned for her well-being when they heard a scream around 2:30 pm on Monday and did not see or hear from her within 24 hours after that. They also grew very suspicious of their fellow occupant, Sanda Kolalou (36), whom many of them were already afraid of, when she called a tow truck and had them haul away a large bag. As the real-life horror story played itself out, Kolalou ordered the tow truck to drive her and the mysterious cargo to Seal Beach; little did he know he was transporting evidence of a murder. Not only did Kolalou pay for the tow truck with her landlord's credit card, but she added to

Authorities in Oklahoma say a man was arrested after he allegedly raped a woman at a hotel this week. According to the  Tulsa Police Department , officers were called to the Trade Winds Central Inn on Tuesday with reports that a woman was raped in her hotel room. Police said in a Facebook post that a woman told them the incident started when she was standing by her room and a man dressed as a woman walked by and asked where he could buy drugs. She said the man attacked her after telling him she didn’t have any drugs. According to authorities, the man hit her over the head with a gun, forced her back into the room and raped her while at gunpoint. Police said the woman told them that the man, later identified as Brandon Herd, was wearing a black wig, miniskirt and black shoes during the attack. According to reports, a boutique owner in Long Island, NY was arrested after allegedly selling over $40 million in counterfeit designer items. Lindsay Castelli, 31, of Smithtown sold fake Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Dior, Ugg, and Louis Vuitton to unsuspecting patrons of her boutique. Authorities from Nassau County recovered 22 printing presses at the store that were used to create “thousands of synthetic heat-sealed counterfeit labels,” which Castelli would then add to cheap clothes to be marked up for sale.  “A simple $10 sweatshirt, you put the Chanel brand on it, it sells for $5,300,” said Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder. “They would take a hat, a $3 hat, a 50-cent item on the side. They would heat seal it onto the hat and sell the hat for $300,’’ Ryder added.  “This was not a mom-and-pop operation. This was a sophisticated operation operating two fashion merchandise companies, Christian Salvatore New York and Linny’s Boutique,’’ said Nassau County District At

Celtics Reportedly 'Won't Stand in' Ime Udoka's Way If He Pursues New HC Job

Image
According to ESPN's NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics and Ime Udoka don't seem to be headed toward a reconciliation and reinstatement for the 2023-24 season. Woj reports that the Celtics are prepared to allow Udoka to pursue other head coaching opportunities around the league if they present themselves following his 1-year suspension.  At a news conference last week, Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck said the suspension—which extends through June 30, 2023—was a product of multiple violations of team policies, and sources told ESPN the Celtics won't stand in Udoka's way should he have the chance to become a coaching candidate elsewhere. There are teams that have tried to gather a preliminary understanding of the full explanation for Udoka's suspension in preparation for possibly evaluating him for future coaching employment, sources told ESPN." The idea that Udoka has coached his last game for the Celtics is becoming a more accepted line o
