Snoop Dogg Says Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" is Back at Death Row

Image
After Snoop Dogg acquired Death Row Records in February, he told Tidal's Elliott Wilson that the label now owns several legendary albums. Snoop stated, "As far as 2Pac’s masters, 2Pac’s masters came back to him last year. But I got a great relationship with his estate, and I’m pretty sure we’re going to be able to work something out … to continue some Death Row 2Pac business now that Snoop Dogg is in control of Death Row. Same with Dr. Dre and  The Chronic . I got  The Chronic  album. I got  Doggystyle ,  Tha Doggfather ,  Murder Was the Case ,  Dogg Food ,  Above the Rim . I got all those records."  Dr. Dre's attorney, Howard King, released a statement, where he claimed that Dr. Dre still owned the album, "There are false reports out regarding ownership by Death Row of Dr. Dre’s  The Chronic . Dr. Dre owns 100 percent of  The Chronic ."  On Wednesday (March 30) night, Snoop took to Instagram to post a picture of him and Dr. Dre in the studio alo

LA Sheriff's Department Visits Will Smith's Home, Charges Remain a Possibility

Image
In wake of the infamous slap heard around the world,  Chris Rock  has remained steadfast in his refusal to press charges against  Will Smith  for slapping him on stage. But nevertheless, it appears as though punishment is coming down the pipeline. Not only has the Academy confirmed that they are weighing options in terms of how to properly sanction Will Smith for his actions, but the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department recently pulled up on the award-winning actor at his multi-million dollar mansion in Calabasas. According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, patrol cars were in the area to investigate a drone that was flying around the upscale neighborhood. While it is not known exactly why the Los Angeles Sheriffs entered the gates of Will Smith's mansion, it is important to note that the LAPD can still prosecute the 53-year-old actor for his transgressions on Oscar Night, regardless of whether or not Chris Rock ever decides to push

Male Birth Control Pill Found 99% Effective in Mice, Human Trials to Begin Later This Year

Yesterday, a team of scientists announced that they had successfully developed a male contraceptive in the form of a pill that displayed 99 percent effectiveness in mice without any noticeable side effects. The experimentation on the lab mice was so successful that the team of scientists has declared that they will on to the next phase, which will be centered around human trials, by the end of this year. If the gradual stage of testing is deemed a success, this contraceptive would be the first-ever male birth control pill. The exciting new advancement will be presented by MD Abdullah Al Norman -- an alumnus from the University of Minnesota -- at the American Chemical Society's spring meeting. One of Norman's biggest tasks was figuring out a way to avoid the side effects that were caused by the hormones in the female equivalent of the drug. In order to sidestep any mishaps, such as weight gain, depression, and increased heart disease risks, Norman aimed to develop a

According to reports, an Ohio man was sentenced to 41-years in prison for posing as an Uber driver between 2017 and 2020 when he lured unsuspecting women into his car and raped them.  “There is not one thing that the victims did where they bear responsibility for what happened to them,” Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Joan Synenberg said in delivering her sentence. “I hope they can free themselves of any space you occupy in their heads.”  Burks faced a maximum sentence of 103 years behind bars after pleading guilty to five counts of rape, four counts of kidnapping, two counts of abduction and one count each of theft and domestic violence.  One of Burks's victims spoke during the sentencing and asked him directly if he remembered her screams for help as he raped her. “I hope you are haunted by my limp body lying in the backseat of your car. I hope you never live another day without the soul-crushing weight of me on your mind,” she told him. “I am not weak. I am

Kodak Black's Producer Goes Off On Latto, Says "You Were On Your Diva S**t"

Image
In the claims from Dyryk, he seemingly reveals Kodak Black is who Latto was referencing and said “Let me fill you in on what this bulls**t with @latto777 is all about. She asked for a feature a while back. We charged her our normal rate, and she wanted a swap. Since her verse won't really do anything for us, we asked for a swap for our female artist and charged her substantially less. She declined and said she was going to not use the record.” The producer continued saying Latto circled back about their first offer, without their artist. “Talk about empowering fellow female rappers. Now she's on some bullsh*t that she was made uncomfortable And holding up your album? I know you're not talking about us. You were on your diva sh*t when no one is getting in the car playing your records,” said Dyryk. The producer then said Latto was attempting to “assassinate my brother’s character,” which led him to say Latto won’t say a name because “she’s full of s**t.” Take a lo

Image
STAMFORD, Conn.  – On Friday, the three national credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion, announced a joint industry measure to remove nearly 70% of medical collection debt accounts from consumer credit reports. Effective July 1, 2022, paid medical collection debt will no longer be included on consumer credit reports. In addition, the time period before unpaid medical collection debt would appear on a consumer’s report will be increased from six months to one year, giving consumers more time to work with insurance and health care providers to address their debt before it is reported on their credit file. In the first half of 2023, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion will also no longer include medical collection debt under at least $500 on credit reports. The companies’ CEOs provided a joint statement on the decision to change medical collection debt reporting: “Medical collections debt often arises from unforeseen medical circumstances. Image
Boosie hopped on Instagram to address the controversy over he and his son "examining" a woman's vagina with a magnifying glass on IG Live Wednesday.  Naturally, Boosie defended his actions and asked his critics a few questions in return.  “Talkin’ about me and my son,” Boosie says. “See what they all do is y’all flip the narrative and always try to make it f**ked up, but if a 18-year-old man looking at some p***y is wrong, what is right for him to look at? A 18-year-old man … if this is so wrong, him looking at some cat, what is right for him to look at? Hmm.” The video in question was part of Boosie's "Boosie Gone Bad" series and has provided his critics with more material to slam him as a parent.  “Why are y’all laughing and egging Boosie on?” one person asked. “His actions are absolutely NOT funny — never have been and never will be. They’re deplorable, degrading and disgusting. And I really want him off these social platforms and examined for

Grandfather Gets Life For Sexually Assaulting 3 Generations in Family

Image
A Georgia man named Bennie Frank Johnson was sentenced to two life terms in prison, plus an additional five years after being found guilty of raping and molesting three generations of females he had family ties to. The ruling was handed down by a Cobb County judge who determined that the 66-year-old assailant had sexually violated an eight-year-old, the child's mother, and his former stepdaughter. Johnson was initially arrested for his transgressions back in 2018 after he sexually assaulted the eight-year-old. This caused the victim's mother to tell investigators that she too had been molested by Johnson when she was a young child. During Johnson's trial, another witness testified that she was raped by him while he was married to her mother. “This is the beginning of breaking generational curses for my family,” said the mother of the eight-year-old victim after Johnson's sentencing on Monday. Johnson has been held without bail since his arrest. Scroll up to view more in
