Travis Scott has had a successful 2020 despite not releasing much music. The rapper has established himself as one of the most profitable artists of the year through his creative partnerships with some of the world's most recognized companies. Forbes  profiled Travis Scott's deals with Nike, McDonald's, Sony, and other companies and broke down how much the rapper is expected to earn. His most recent deal with Sony for its Playstation 5 has already earned him $1 million. But with a co-branded console and game designed by Travis, he's expected to earn $20 million. While his McDonald's deal netted him $5 million, his merchandise for the endorsement bumped his earnings up to $15 million. Travis Scott earns an estimated $10 million per year from Nike. While the deal isn't his most profitable, the endorsement has raised his value to other brands. Previously, it was revealed that the YEEZY 450 Slide would be released in late December 2020. At the time, only prototype photos were released of the slide, with an alleged retail price of $65. Now, on-foot photos of the slide have surfaced. The slide’s look mirrors the same design of the upcoming YEEZY 450 sneaker that is set to drop as well. 

Two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry and his endorsement home, Under Armour, have launched the standalone "Curry Brand" to better compete with Nike's Jordan Brand. The new brand will feature gear for several sports, most notably basketball and golf. Gamers may soon rejoice as Sony promises to have more consoles available "by the end of the year." In a statement issued via Twitter Wednesday morning, the good people at Sony said, “We want to thank gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever."  “Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year – please stay in touch with your local retailers," the statement continued.  The tweet comes just a day after Sony CEO Jim Ryan's comments to a Russian news outlet went viral. Ryan told the outlet that "everything is sold" forcing many to believe they'd be forced to pay double the price on StockX or some other online marketplace.

Ryan recently spoke with a Russian news outlet where he revealed, “Everything is sold. Absolutely everything is sold.”  “I’ve spent much of the last year trying to be sure that we can generate enough demand for the product. David Dinkins, New York City's first and only black mayor, died at 93 of apparent natural causes in his NYC apartment. A health aide found Dinkins inside his Upper East Side home unresponsive on Monday night. This comes a little over a month after Dinkins's wife, Joyce Dinkins, passed away.  Originally from Trenton, NJ, Dinkins began his foray into politics as an assemblyman in Harlem in 1966 after briefly practicing law. Now, the government has noted that the United States is expecting to start COVID-19 vaccinations by December 11, 2020. FDA vaccine advisors are reportedly set to meet from December 8 to 10 to discuss the approval of vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna, which are allegedly 95 percent effective. The head of the White House’s coronavirus vaccine effort—Dr. Moncef Slaoui said, “Our plan is to be able to ship vaccines to the immunization sites within 24 hours of approval [by the FDA].
