Legendary breakdancer Adolfo "Shabba Doo" Quiñones, who starred in the 1984 movie "Breakin'" and the sequel, "Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo," has reportedly passed away at 65. Quiñones was also a member of the dance group "The Original Lockers," who pioneered the dance move "Locking" along with members Fred "Rerun" Berry, Don "Campbellock" Campbell, and Toni Basil. Quiñones worked with various A-list artists, including Madonna, Lionel Richie, and Luther Vandross.   Donald Trump signed the $900 billion-plus COVID relief package on Sunday (December 27) evening, which was too late to prevent unemployment aid from lapsing.  In a statement to supporters, Trump claimed that his trade-offs for signing the bill was lawmakers agreeing to "focus strongly on the very substantial voter fraud which took place in the November 3 Presidential election." Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made no mention of this promise during his announcement that Trump signed the legislation.  Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a Republican from Illinois, slammed Trump for delaying the signing of the bill after many believed it was clear he would sign it after Congress passed the bill a week ago. House Democrats tried and failed on Thursday (December 24) to increase the stimulus relief checks for Americans from $600 to $2,000. This comes as some are worried President Trump will veto the $900 billion coronavirus relief bill if the payments to Americans aren't increased.  On Tuesday, Trump stated, "I'm asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2000 or $4000 per couple. I'm also asking Congress to immediately get rid of the wasteful and unnecessary items in this legislation or to send me a suitable bill. A few months ago, Congress started negotiations on a new package to get urgently needed help to the American people. It's taken forever. However, the bill they are now planning to send back to my desk is much different than anticipated. It really is a disgrace." Following the release of  stills from the highly anticipated film   Coming 2 America , an official teaser trailer was released on Tuesday (December 22).  The trailer begins with King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones) telling his son Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) know that he's set to become King of Zamunda. However, the title of Prince must be passed to a male heir, which is a son that Prince Akeem didn't know he had back in America. From there, Prince Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) travel back to New York to bring Akeem's son (Jermaine Fowler) back to Zamunda.  The trailer also shows clips of Shari Headley (who plays Lisa, Akeem's wife), Teyana Taylor, and Wesley Snipes. Congressional leaders reached a deal for a $900 billion stimulus package late on Sunday (December 20) evening. The bill includes $600 direct payments to adults and their dependents, along with $300 in enhanced unemployment for the next 10 weeks. Individuals must make less than $75,000 a year or $150,000 for couples to apply for the stimulus checks.  Other things included in the package is $25 billion in direct rental assistance. The eviction moratorium has also been extended until January 31, which is the same day the moratorium on student loan payments ends. $82 billion will go toward education funding, $45 billion for public transit systems, and $13 billion for increased food stamps and child nutrition benefits. $12 billion will go to minority-owned or very small businesses, and $15 billion will go toward theater operators and small venue owners through Save our Stages Act. According to reports, a Florida man has been accused of attempted murder in a gruesome act brought upon his girlfriend and young child. Pierre Francois, who’s believed to be mentally ill, allegedly stabbed his girlfriend in the eyes (leaving her permanently blind), tossed his 1-year-old daughter out of a window, and beat his mother with a piece of wood.  Authorities say the child remains unresponsive after sustaining traumatic brain injuries. The child's mother also remains hospitalized as the two are in critical condition. The suspect's mother sustained minor injuries and is expected to be okay.  “This was a very, very gruesome scene that the deputies encountered, and it was caused by a family member,” said Sgt. Don Prichard of the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Francois was charged with multiple felony charges, including attempted murder, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. After much uproar regarding the poor performance of "Cyberpunk 2077," Sony is removing the game from the PlayStation Store and will offer full refunds. In a statement released on Thursday, Sony wrote: "SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice. "Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution." The Baltimore Ravens revealed on Thursday (December 17) that former fullback Lorenzo Taliaferro has passed away at 28. Taliaferro was picked to join the Ravens in the fourth round of the NFL draft. He played three seasons for the team, scoring five touchdowns and rushing a total of 339 yards.  Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh released a statement on the team's Twitter page, which reads: "We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Lorenzo Taliaferro. Lorenzo was a kind, smart, respectful, and determined young man- someone always committed to their teammates and well-liked by everyone in our organization. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Lorenzo's family. May he rest in peace."  The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office tweeted the news that Taliaferro had died late Wednesday night. Joselyn Cano boasted an Instagram following of nearly 13 million, as well as a swim line, Joselyn Cano Swimwear. While the 29-year-old's family has not confirmed the model's death, her  funeral  was reportedly uploaded on YouTube Wednesday by the Akes Family Funeral Home.
