The nature of  Bill Cosby's  sexual assault conviction remains a topic that is highly debated to this very day. Regardless of where your opinion lies about the actor/comedian, there's no denying that he is one of the most polarizing figures of the "me too" movement and that has severely tarnished his legacy in the public eye. Nevertheless, despite the fact that over 50 women have filed lawsuits against him, in relation to sexual misconduct, Cosby still maintains a net worth of about $500 million. So, when the 84-year-old was recently informed that he only had to shell out $500K to his accuser, Judy Huth, after she alleged that he sexually assaulted her when she was 16 years old (back in 1975), Cosby delivered a classic response. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signs bill requiring students to take a financial literacy course to graduate high school months after Ohio passed the bill. 

YouTube Vince McMahon is stepping away from his duties as CEO of the WWE amid an investigation of a $3 million settlement to a former employee he allegedly had an affair with. The WWE announced that McMahon's daughter, Stephanie, will serve as interim CEO.  A statement released by the WWE reads, "Special Committee of the Board is conducting an investigation into alleged misconduct by its Chairman and CEO Vincent McMahon and John Laurinaitis, head of talent relations, and that, effective immediately, McMahon has voluntarily stepped back from his responsibilities as CEO and Chairman of the Board until the conclusion of the investigation."  Vince addressed the investigation in a statement, which reads, "I have pledged my complete cooperation to the investigation by the special committee, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation. I have also pledged to accept the findings and outcome of the investigation, whatever they are." McMahon added that

 

 

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Fans of Faygo will soon be able to enjoy a specialty ice cream series with the soda pop as the base flavor. Detroit-based Faygo Beverages has partnered with BrownDog Creamery, a local ice cream company, to launch six initial flavors: Unicorn Swirl, Citrus Mist, Choc & Rye, Peaches & Crème, Motown Jam and Groovy Grape. Each ice cream is mixed with Faygo flavorings and other ingredients. Eight Faygo flavors were used to create the series. They're set to be released on Friday. Browndog Creamery said it focuses on using local products and has always carried Faygo in its shops. Because of that, the company says ice cream floats made with Faygo have been popular at its parlors. Browndog said it decided to reach out to Faygo for a collaboration and the company was thrilled.

 

Michigan drivers now have the option of adorning their cars with digital license plates, which can locate lost vehicles and receive public safety alerts — for a fee. Reviver, the maker of the connected plates,  announced  that Michigan residents and businesses can now purchase the device (known as the RPlate) online. Consumers can choose between two models: a battery-powered plate and a hard-wired plate that includes GPS. The plates have been available for sale in California and Arizona, and the company is aiming to make them available nationwide. But what exactly is a digital license plate? The RPlate is essentially a license plate with an HD display and LTE connectivity (as well as GPS for the hard-wired model) that includes a number of security and personalization features. Drivers can switch between dark and light modes and select personalized messages to appear at the bottom. The GPS-enabled plate also includes telematic transponders, so it can locate a lost or stolen

 

The Golden State Warriors have been wrapped up in the NBA Finals in a series that has them ahead of the Boston Celtics 3-2. Many have hopped on the court and now one person, in particular, is facing repercussions for showing their face. A Youtuber named BigDawsTV, frequently impersonates Klay Thompson and even went as far as stepping on the court and interacting with Steve Kerr. However, Dawson Gurley’s venture into the venue has caused him to be banned.  Gurley went on to fake his way through security yesterday ahead of the game and was even able to take warm-up shots on the Chase Center court before being swiftly escorted out of the building. Since then, Gurley said he received a letter noting he was banned from the arena until further notice. The letter says what Gurley did could be considered criminal trespassing. Besides being prohibited, Gurley is reportedly out of $10,000 worth of tickets.

 

According to police in Cincinnati, a 27-year-old woman named Angel Kidd was arrested after shooting and injuring a Little Caesars pizza manager.  Kidd reportedly shot the manager last Tuesday following an exchange they had. The woman returned to Little Caesars after being fired by the manager, and asked for her job back, according to a sworn statement from police. The cops said, “After being told she would not be re-hired, she began fighting the store manager in the parking lot. During the struggle (Kidd) pulled a gun and shot the store manager in the left leg. (She) fled the scene in a blue SUV.”  After being shot, the manager was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition. They then underwent surgery, according to reports. Angel Kidd was arrested and charged with felonious assault at the Hamilton County Justice Center. The woman is currently being held without bond. The words exchanged between Mo’Nique and D.L. Hughley  following the two appearing on a comedy show together have escalated, with Mo’Nique speaking about Hughley’s daughter. Since then, Hughley’s daughter Ryan called out Mo’Nique, saying she’s “two crayons short of the full box.” Now, Mo’Nique’s sister has given her thoughts on the matter, calling out her sister in the process.  Via Facebook, the comedian’s sister Millicent Imes told her sister to “knock it off.” She started by saying, “Enough is Enough!! Azealia Banks recently made an appearance in Miami for a Pride appearance and took out some anger about the current dealings in her life. While the anger wasn’t aimed at fans, the attendees caught most of the rant.  Banks was onstage for a performance at the Wynwood Pride concert and made it known she wasn’t rocking with the way promoters tried to jerk her around about the set time, along with information on if she was headlining the event. Banks went on to say, “I'm really not happy to be here.” She then told the crowd it’s not their fault, saying, “I'm trying y'all, but it's difficult.” Azealia Banks continued to repeat, “I really don't wanna f***ing be here,” which reportedly prompted her microphone to be cut off. Rolling Stone recently dropped a list featuring their take on the Top 200 Hip Hop Albums of all-time. The list has gone viral because of some of the choices added, like the glaring lack of Nas albums within the top 20. Also, many were quick to point out newer editions to the list, like Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’ album being featured in the top 20, despite only being out a few years earlier. Rolling Stone’s list has caused many to claim the publication doesn’t have any legitimate hip-hop knowledge. A Missouri woman who claimed to have contracted a sexually transmitted disease during sex in a car has been awarded $5.2 million from the car insurance giant Geico.  According to reports, the woman's ex-partner was insured by Geico who she took her claim to about contracting HPV while having sexual intercourse in her then-beau's vehicle. The company claimed that her issue wasn't covered under the policy. However, she stated that he knew of his condition beforehand and the risks of unprotected sex.  As a result, an arbiter determined the car “directly caused, or directly contributed to cause” of the STD transmission. Apple is launching a new feature for Apple Pay to let you pay for purchases in four installments over time without interest, called Apple Pay Later. It’s Apple’s take on a buy now, pay later (BNPL) service, built right into Apple Pay and coming with iOS 16. Buy now, pay later services have been on the rise. You’ve probably seen names like Affirm or Klarna while shopping on the web, and Block (formerly Square) jumped into the space in a big way with  its acquisition of Afterpay . Apple has been rumored to be working on its own service  for some time , and it seems like what was announced Monday at WWDC will be a natural extension of the company’s strategy to encourage people to buy things using Apple Pay. Model  Pasha Bleasdel , who appeared in many music videos in the early 2000’s, has passed away at 38 years old. On June 6,  Director X  revealed Bleasdell died on June 4 of a brain tumor. He wrote on Instagram, “I’ve put her in a million videos and spent just as much time hanging out. She was always genuine and cool. Never brought drama to set of life. You never know when the last time you speak to some one will be the last time you speak. I hold on to my memories of you with love. Rest in Power Pasha.”

 

According to reports, the mother of star producer Metro Boomin has passed away. Metro’s mother was allegedly killed by her boyfriend before the boyfriend ultimately killed himself. It was noted the incident took place last night, and Metro Boom hasn’t issued a statement on the tragedy at this moment. Mo’Nique and D.L. Hughley’s issues with one another  have seemingly transferred over to their family, as Hughley’s oldest daughter called out Mo’Nique for comments she made mentioning their family. Previously, during her rant against D.L., Mo’Nique fired off allegations about his kids, saying, “I find it funny that DL will call out... myself, etc., but he won't call out the name of the person that violated his daughter.” Ryan Nicole Shepard, the oldest daughter of Hughley, took to Instagram and laid into Mo’Nique with some harsh words. After introducing herself, Shepard said, “You've now publicly disrespected my mother-- who I love and care for very much-- and my baby sister-- who I love and care for very much-- to get back at my father...” Shepard continued to lay into Mo’Nique, calling her out for choosing “to be deliberately mean and hurtful to two black women who have nothing to do with this conversation.” She then questioned Mo’Nique’s mental stability and dign

Reports surfaced noting that a 40-year-old woman named Augustine Gladney was arrested after allegedly throwing her boyfriend’s mother’s ashes into Lake Worth in Texas.  The Fort Worth Police Department said 38-year-old Ernest Smith spoke to the cops and told them upon coming home in the evening, the man discovered his mother’s urn was missing. Smith said he overheard a conversation between Gladney and her daughter, who was at their home at the time. Gladney reportedly told her daughter she tossed the urn in Lake Worth. Smith also told the cops he couldn’t make contact with Gladney until late Monday night, May 2. Smith says Gladney texted him upon making contact, admitting she threw his mother’s ashes into the lake.  As a result of her actions, Gladney was arrested and charged with the abuse of a corpse.  source:  NBC DFW

A Florida man crashed his vehicle into a FedEx truck after receiving oral sex while behind the wheel.  When authorities arrived on the scene, they found the unidentified man and his female companion partially naked.  Per the New York Post:  Rescue officials said the driver sustained an unspecified injury to his groin due to the circumstances of the crash. However, the SUV driver’s penis was “nearly bitten off,” according to the Daily Mail — presumably because the impact caused his companion to bite down. No word yet on what charges may come down for the driver and his partner
