Meek Mill Calls Out Rolling Stone Over Top 200 Hip-Hop Albums List

Rolling Stone recently dropped a list featuring their take on the Top 200 Hip Hop Albums of all-time. The list has gone viral because of some of the choices added, like the glaring lack of Nas albums within the top 20. Also, many were quick to point out newer editions to the list, like Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’ album being featured in the top 20, despite only being out a few years earlier. Rolling Stone’s list has caused many to claim the publication doesn’t have any legitimate hip-hop knowledge. Now, Meek Mill has taken to Twitter to call out the publication for their list.

Meek hopped on Twitter and made it clear he wasn’t having it when it came to the massive list, saying, “The 200 Greatest Rap Albums of All Time - Rolling Stone how do y’all determine these list ‘marketing money’.” He didn’t stop there, as he said, “y’all be tripping tryna discredit us… I ain’t been active lately but ain’t no wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy tf.” Rolling Stone has yet to respond. Stay tuned for more updates.
