According to reports, an Oklahoma man admitted to law enforcement that he murdered his neighbor and ate her heart.  An agent with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation stated that Lawrence Paul Anderson killed Andrea Lynn Blankenship at her home and cut out her heart before serving it “with potatoes to feed to his family to release the demons.”  Anderson is accused of killing his uncle and a 4-year-old girl after murdering Blakenship. He is also accused of stabbing his aunt, although she survived the attack. He was found inside the home in another room vomiting and was taken to the hospital. Anderson has a history of drug abuse and was apparently under the influence during his grisly attacks.  Anderson was released from prison in 2017 after having his sentence commuted and had been staying with his uncle, Leon Pye, and aunt, Delsie Pye, since his release.  He is currently in police custody at Grady County jail. Previously, it was revealed that Citibank accidentally wired $900 million to Revlon’s lender when they meant to send off $8 million in interest payments. As a result, some lenders reportedly kept the money. Since then, a judge has ruled that Citibank will not be allowed to recover the hundreds of billions of dollars mistaken sent to Revlon. Citibank was serving as a loan agent for Revlon and were supposed to send $8 million in interest payments to Revlon’s lenders. However, they accidentally wired $900 million to Revlon’s lenders, which included $175 million to a hedge fund. Citibank filed a lawsuit in August 2020 where they asked for their funds to be returned but still haven’t received $500 million from 10 investment advisory firms after the “biggest blunder in bank history.” According to Revlon, they believed Citibank was wiring pre-payments for a loan. Now, Quavo has revealed that he will be picking up Bobby Shmurda upon his release from prison. Bobby is currently in the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York, and via Billboard, Quavo gave an update on the journey. Quavo said, “I'm going to get my guy. I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I'm bout to go get him. I'm gonna let him show you how I'm gonna pick him up, yessir." Traffickers have been coming up with innovative ways to bring illegal substances into the states, and now a report has surfaced noting that federal agents seized $2.82 million worth of cocaine-coated cornflakes in Cincinnati. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers were able to intercept a massive shipment of cereal that was set to head to a private resident in Hong Kong, from South America. Officers on the scene opened one of the boxes of cereal, and saw the corn flakes were coated with a “grayish substance.” When they tested the substance on the corn flakes, the substance contained cocaine. CBP officers noted the entire shipment contained 44 pounds of the corn flakes with the cocaine substance on it and estimated the value could worth up to $2.82 million on the street. According to TMZ, Trick Daddy took a plea deal after  being arrested  for cocaine possession and driving under the influence in January 2020. He pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and getting credit for time served. In exchange, his DUI charges were dropped.  Bodycam footage showed police obtaining a dollar bill with a powdery substance rolled up, which was suspected to be cocaine at the time of his arrest. He also failed a field sobriety test, leading to the DUI charges. The cocaine charge led to a low-level, third-degree felony, and he will not be on probation following the plea deal.  Harris Gilbert, Trick Daddy's attorney, addressed the situation, telling TMZ, "As part of the plea he was also able to give back to the community he loves so much with a donation to Camillus House homeless shelter."  Source:  TMZ  

According to reports, a leader of the Oath Keepers—a far-right militia group, was charged in connection to the U.S. Capitol riot that left numerous people dead. The woman who was charged claimed she was in D.C. on January 6 to “provide security” during the pro-Trump insurrection and also met with Secret Service agents, according to court documents. 38-year-old Jessica Watkins claims she was allegedly given a “VIP pass” to the rally, according to her attorneys. In a defense petition filed by Watkins’ attorneys, they said, “Ms. Watkins was present not as an insurrectionist, but to provide security to the speakers at the rally, to provide escort for the legislators and others to march to the Capitol as directed by the then president, and to safely escort protesters away from the Capitol to their vehicles and cars at the conclusion of the protest.” Reports noted that Watkins is one of nine people connected to the Oath Keepers that were charged with conspiracy in relation to sto

60 Minutes  producer Ira Rosen recently released his book,  Ticking Clock: Behind the Scenes at 60 Minutes , where he revealed that Jeffrey Epstein's former lover Ghislaine Maxwell admitted to Epstein having secret tapes of Donald Trump and Bill Clinton. Maxwell is facing up to 35 years in prison on sex-trafficking charges and is awaiting judgment in Manhattan federal court.  Maxwell acknowledged the secret footage existed in a 2016 meeting when Rosen told her, "I want the tapes. The banishment of Donald Trump from the Twitterverse remains a point of contention for free speech advocates on both sides of the left-right spectrum. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is one such person who believes Trump should be allowed back on social media.  During an interview with CNBC, Gates said, "I think at some point he probably will be allowed back on and probably should be allowed back on," suggesting that social media platforms label any falsities coming from his accounts as such.  "It’s weird when you’re, you know, saying that the election was stolen without any facts there. And how corrosive that is," Gates continued. "But I’ll bet they’ll find a way to let him back on." Prince Markie Dee of The Fat Boys has passed away at the age of 52. Born Mark Anthony Morales, Markie Dee was 1/3 of The Fat Boys, which was one of the first rap acts to crossover into the mainstream. After coming up under Kurtis Blow, the Brooklyn trio was apart of the first wave of Hip Hop acts to achieve pop success along with LL Cool J, Run-DMC, Whodini, and others. The Fat Boys appeared in major motion picture films in the 1980s, including  Krush Groove  and  Disorderlies . Prince Markie Dee is also credited as one of the first major rap stars of Puerto Rican descent. After The Fat Boys broke up, Markie Dee transitioned into a successful solo career as an artist and producer. As a solo artist, he had a number one rap hit with "Typical Reasons (Swing My Way)." The grandparents of rapper HoneyKomb Brazy were allegedly killed and their house set on fire on Wednesday (February 17) evening in Mobile, Alabama. Local station UTV44 confirmed that the bodies of two people were found inside a house that was set on fire. It was also revealed that the fire damaged another home next door. Footage of the blaze was uploaded online, with one distressed woman audibly crying out as the house continued to burn. President Joe Biden announced the next steps planned for the coronavirus pandemic in a primetime town hall on Tuesday (February 16).  During the town hall, Biden pledged to make 600m doses of the Covid-19 vaccine available by the end of July. He also stated that teachers should move up in the hierarchy to get the vaccine, as he predicts most elementary schools will open within his first 100 days in office.  When host Anderson Cooper asked Biden when he predicts things will get back to "normal," he stated, "By next Christmas, we’ll be in a very different circumstance, God willing, than we are today." Before adding that he didn't want to overpromise, Biden stated that he thinks circumstances will be different a year from now.  This comes as Biden is working to get a $1.9tn coronavirus aid package through Congress, which the House of Representatives is expected to vote on next week.

During a town hall on Tuesday (February 16) night, Joe Biden was asked if he would pledge to cancel $50,000 in student loan debt. Biden responded, stating, "I will not make that happen." He then added, "My point is: I understand the impact of debt, and it can be debilitating. I am prepared to write off the $10,000 debt but not $50 [thousand], because I don't think I have the authority to do it." This comes as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and other lawmakers introduced a resolution in early February to cancel $50,000 in federal student loan debt for all borrowers. On Wednesday (February 17), Schumer and Warren stated that they're "confident" that Biden will ultimately agree with experts "who have concluded that the administration has broad authority to immediately deliver much-needed relief to millions of Americans."

According to reports, a couple has been arrested after allegedly shooting a woman who shushed them in the movie theater. Camryn King, 20, and Yvonne Crawford, 22, were apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Indiana and were charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The couple will be extradited to Georgia from Indiana to face charges stemming from the incident that occurred on Jan. 9. Authorities say the victim got into a brief argument with King and Crawford after the couple was being too loud. She said King then pulled a gun out of Crawford's purse and fired. The victim was struck in the shoulder, but her injuries were non-life-threatening. 

Tim Boyd, now the former mayor of Colorado City, TX, made headlines after a lengthy Facebook bad-mouthed the residents of his city during the statewide power and heat outages.  Boyd's resignation came just hours after the insensitive Facebook post where he told Colorado City residents, "no one owes you or your family anything," and "the city and county, along with power providers or any other services, owes you NOTHING!" He added that he's "sick and tired of people looking for a damn handout." Tennessee Sen. Mark Pody (R-Lebanon) and Rep. Jerry Sexton (R-Bean Station) introduced a bill that would allow fathers of unborn children to file a court injunction and prevent the mother from getting an abortion. House Bill 1079, as it's officially known, was passed on first consideration Thursday (February 11). Both parties can present evidence fourteen days after the petition is filed, and the motion to stop the abortion would be decided at a court hearing. The bill also states that the person seeking to stop the abortion doesn't need to prove that he is the biological father of the child via a DNA test.  Violating the injunction would result in the court holding the mother in civil or criminal contempt and "punish the respondent in accordance with the law."  Source:  ABC6

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson was found dead in a Brandon, Florida hotel room on Monday (February 15). The 38-year-old was confirmed dead by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, who also added that they're investigating the situation.  Hotel staff said Jackson checked into the hotel on Jan. 11 and had been staying in that room since that date. Jackson's family called the sheriff's department on Feb. 10, who reported that he was missing. However, the missing person case was canceled after they spoke with Jackson the following day and assessed his well-being. On Monday (February 15), a housekeeper found Jackson dead around 11:30 am.  Jackson spent seven seasons with the San Diego Chargers after being a second-round pick in 2005. He made two Pro Bowls with the Chargers and he went on to sign a five-year deal with the Buccaneers in 2012. According to reports, a California high school assistant principal was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a young girl who was 7 or 8 years old at the time of the assault.  Matthew Lin Johnson, 42, was taken into custody and charged with suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. The victim reportedly told authorities that Johnson abused her "multiple times" over the course of two years.  It's not immediately clear what the relationship was between Johnson and the victim. Still, San Bernadino County Sheriff's spokesperson Cindy Bachman said, "the victim and suspect are known to each other," in an email to reporters.  Johnson is currently being held without bail.  Source:  nydailynews.com
