Magic Johnson Reportedly Interested in Purchasing LA Clippers

Following stunning revelations that Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling made racially charged comments which were brought to light by TMZ and Deadspin, it looks like Magic Johnson is now "absolutely interested" in purchasing the Clippers and replacing Sterling.  According to CBS Local, Magic has shown great interest in buying the Clippers, along with Mark Walter and the Guggenheim Partners, to bring new order to the organization and wipe away the nasty stain that's been smeared on them due to what Mr. Sterling stated about members of the black community, including Magic Johnson specifically.

Following the release of the audio records, Magic has been actively addressing the issue on Twitter.  He and the rest of the sports world are actively awaiting the ruling of NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who is currently conducting an investigation into the racial scandal and plans on making an announcement by Tuesday, April 39th.  Many people, including Kobe Bryant, are hopeful that Silver will remove Sterling from his position as owner of the Clippers.

According to ESPN reporter Darren Rovell, the Clippers have already lost sponsorships from big companies such as CarMax, and are in jeopardy of losing more if Sterling continues to hold his position as owner of the team.  To add salt to the wound, the Clippers players engaged in a silent protest against Sterling during their pregame warmups for Game 4 of their playoff series with the Golden State Warriors.

If Magic Johnson were to purchase the Clippers, how would you feel about the change following Sterling's comments?
