Lebron James Makes $30 Million From Beats by Dre Sale to Apple

According to Brian Windhorst, sportswriter for ESPN, King James made some big money when Dr. Dre sold Beats Electronics to Apple. Due to him owning a small stake in the company, the NBA star made a cool and quiet $30 million off of the sale. Sports Business Analyst for ESPN, Darren Rovell, is reporting that this may be the largest payout in history for an athlete.

Apparently, making "only" $19 mil per year as a player on the Heat is not so bad after all when you can cash in almost double that amount with one outside business venture.
