WWE Wants Michael Sam to Appear on 'Monday Night Raw'

Michael Sam has been given an invitation to WWE's Monday Night Raw to share his thoughts on getting cut from the St. Louis Rams.

According to CBS Sports, the announcement was made Monday night where the player would have an "open microphone" on his situation. Sam was cut over the weekend by the St. Louis Rams and wasn't picked up by another team. Sam is more than likely to stay with the Rams' practice squad.

The first openly gay player in the NFL hasn't responded to the invite.
