Law & Order Director Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
Jason Alexander, known for directing episodes of Law & Order and Rescue Me, was arrested in Westchester County, New York on charges of child pornography.
Alexander, who is the Second Vice-President of the Director's Guild of America, was charged with the crimes after an investigator was able to download child pornography from an IP address belonging to the director. A search warrant was then issued on Alexander's home, where digital files of children who are less than 16 years of age engaged in child pornography were found on hard drives from his computers.
The director is now facing seven years in prison if he's found convicted of the one felony count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and one felony count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
Alexander is currently being held on $10,000 bond and he's expected to appear in court again on November 19.
