Sprint gives family seven iPhones, 10 years of service, and a huge check on new FOX show

Imagine your surprise when you open the door to find David Beckham with a host of television cameras staring you in the face. That is what happened to the Gonzalez family on Friday's debut ofKnock, Knock Live, Ryan Seacrest's new FOX show. The idea is that a camera crew goes to randomly selected homes with a celebrity in tow, ready to bestow prizes on homeowners.

The big winner on the debut show was a family that had actually been nominated for the honor of receiving a surprise visit from Beckham. The Gonzalez family was as excited as could be, welcoming the soccer star into their home. And since Mr. Beckham has become the new face of Sprint on television ads, the carrier used this air time for a bit of promotion.

Sprint (through Beckham) gave seven family members each a brand-new Apple iPhone. While the model wasn't revealed, we would assume it was the 4.7-inch Apple iPhone 6 that was handed out. Even better, Beckham then revealed that the family would have ten years of free service from Sprint. The carrier topped off their largesse by giving the Gonzalez family a check for $100,000.

So the next time your door knocks, you just might want to answer it. Your new iPhone could be on the other side.
