Michael Jordan Makes More Annually in Endorsements Than Any Current NBA Player

Michael Jordan might not be in the league anymore but he’s still the greatest of all time and gets paid like it.  Jordan actually makes more in endorsements than any current NBA player; yes even King James.

Associated Press:

An expert in sports economics says Michael Jordan’s endorsement income has grown and still eclipses that of current NBA players, including LeBron James.

Smith College economist Andrew Zimbalist testified Monday in federal court in Chicago

He says Jordan’s endorsement income was $75.5 million in 2012.

Here are the NBA’s top endorsers in the last year, according to Forbes:

1. LeBron James – $44 million

2. Kevin Durant – $35 million

3. Kobe Bryant – $26 million

Jordan definitely paved the way for NBA stars to get paid.  They should all pay attention to both him and Magic Johnson
