Kevin Durant Re-Signs with Warriors in 2-Year, $53 Million Deal

NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant has signed a 2-year $53 million contract with the Warriors. While that may seem like a lot of money for such a contract, it was revealed that Durant is taking a pay cut to help the team stay together in the upcoming season. According to sources, Durant was entitled to a $34.65 million per year contract.

The Warriors have agreed to other contracts with their core players, including Steph Curry, who signed a five-year $201 million contract, and Andre Iguodala with a three-year $48 million contract.
