Nicki Minaj Responds to Azealia Banks Apology

Azealia Banks has been in the news quite a bit over the past few days. Her shots at Cardi B following "Bodak Yellow" ascended to the number one slot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts were the comments that reverberated the most throughout social media. The narrative always places Azealia Banks in the antagonist category but she could be looking to shift that narrative position. As much a fuss was made over Banks' comments about Cardi B it should be noted that the Harlem rapper has been going on Twitter rants heavily disparaging Nicki Minaj for years. But Azealia took the opportunity to shout out Nicki on Instagram, showing her respect for all she's done for the game and how she's dominated this generation of female artists. Well, Nicki caught wind of the kind words and reached out to Azealia Banks saying,
"Hey, I'm not sure if you will see this but I want to apologize for whatever catty sh** I've said to and or about you in the past. I really do enjoy your artistry and think you're so intelligent and clever. You have a really brilliant art mind and often times remind me a lot of myself."
