Trump Says 'Space Force' in the Works Capable of Waging War Outside Earth

Donald Trump believes the United States should be ready for combat across all frontiers, suggesting Tuesday that the U.S military should develop an armed forces regiment for outer space.
According to the New York Daily News, speaking before military men and women during his visit to the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California, Trump praised the service of the military before indicating his belief that America's fighting force should expand for future wars.
“Space is a war-fighting domain, just like the land, air, and sea,” Trump said. “We may even have a Space Force — we have the Air Force, we’ll have the Space Force. While he didn’t specify what this new force would look like or the enemies they would combat, Trump declared that his announcement would give the media a frenzy.
"Look at all those people back there. Look at that. Oh, that fake news," Trump said “They know, they understand. Think of that. Space force!"
Trump’s visit to the military base was his second stop during his first trip California since becoming president. Aside from praising the military, the commander-in-chief touted over prototypes of his proposed border wall. Trump was shown various designs but challenged engineers to create a wall that undocumented immigrants couldn’t climb over because “they are incredible climbers.”
