MTV VMAs Allegedly Up Security to Prevent Nicki Minaj & Safaree Issues

It seems as if the issues between Nicki Minaj and Safaree are heating up, as a report surfaced saying the MTV Video Music Awards are changing security plans to make sure that a situation doesn’t occur between the two personalities on the red carpet for the event.

TMZ noted that both Nicki and Safaree will be on the red carpet for separate situations. Nicki is scheduled to perform while Safaree will be a representative for VH1. Because of that, sources noted extra measures will be taken to make sure that the former couple doesn’t speak to each other at all.

This comes after Safaree revealed via Twitter that Nicki Minaj allegedly stabbed him and tried to kill him.
