Oakland Raiders Hire First Female Assistant Coach in Franchise History

The Oakland Raiders did something unprecedented in this offseason as they hired the first female assistant coach in franchise history—Kelsey Martinez.

Martinez joined the Raiders in the offseason as part of the strength and conditioning staff. According to the Denver Post, Martinez is the only female strength and conditioning coach listed on any of the 32 NFL franchise’s websites.
