Porn Star "Honey Gold" Getting Mental Health Treatment After Suicide Attempt

Over time it's become clear that the porn industry is destined to become embroiled in conversations around mental health, as numerous tragedies in recent years have highlighted the vulnerabilities involved in the profession. Now actress Honey Gold has come forward to talk about a recent suicide attempt, revealing that she had "been struggling with mental health and trying to deal with trauma caused by things that have happened in the past." 

Furthermore, Gold is reaching out to her supporters in needs of funds for her hopeful recovery, while her manager has started a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $48,500 to pay for her medical treatments. 

"The program I need to recover is beyond my financial capabilities and I need to get help before it is too late," Gold explained, and based on donations already made by her co-stars it appears that she has the porn communities full support.
